Viisaus ja onni * Wisdom and happiness

"Autuas se ihminen,
joka on löytänyt viisauden,
ihminen, joka on saanut taidon.

Sillä parempi on hankkia
sitä kuin hopeata,
ja siitä saatu voitto
on kultaa jalompi.

Se on kalliimpi kuin helmet,
eivät mitkään kalleutesi
vedä sille vertaa.

Pitkä ikä on sen oikeassa kädessä,
vasemmassa rikkaus ja kunnia.

Sen tiet ovat suloiset tiet,
sen polut rauhaisat kaikki tyynni.

Elämän puu on se niille,
jotka siihen tarttuvat;
onnelliset ne,
jotka siitä pitävät kiinni."

Esivanhempamme
menettivät oikeuden
elämän puuhun
halutessaan viisautta...
se viisaus taisi kuitenkin
olla tyhmyyttä!

lost their right
to the tree of life
when they wanted
wisdom...
however
that wisdom was
possibly stupidity.

Ihmisen mitta * A human measure

Tavallisesti osoitamme suosiota
taitaville laulajille,
hienoille kuoroille ja orkestereille,
mutta Luoja soi äänen myös varikselle.



















Usually we applaud great singers,
excellent choirs and orchestras,
but the Creator gave voice also
to a crow.

Aika ja Ikuisuus * Time and Eternity

Aika kiertää itseään,
rytmi sykkii jaksottain -
Ikuisuus rientää eteenpäin,
uusi ilme kasvoillaan.


























Time is winding it's mills,
rhythms beat repeatedly -
Eternity passes forward,
something new on it's face.
